What drives you? The sheer amount of people across the world whose basic rights are violated daily. Knowing that on the other end of many of these violations are decision-makers in developed countries like Australia, whether they know it or not. Our planet warming, and the future generations who might not be able to enjoy our natural environment.
What projects do you work on that you love or are most passionate about and why? I like working on projects where I can deliver something that generates excitement or curiosity about climate and social action. I’ve enjoyed projects where I can speak with others about the world’s problems, whether they’re someone who’s school-aged or well into their career.
Career highlight/game changing project/something that made a big impact: As part of a student team, I led the launch of an international social entrepreneurship challenge for Monash University students. I got to collaborate with students, lecturers, and social enterprise owners from around the world, and learned about the environmental and social problems affecting their communities. I also loved the design process that went into creating an engaging curriculum for the students.
