What drives you? The wellbeing of the Earth’s inhabitants.
What projects do you work on that you love or are most passionate about and why? Any project that significantly influences or replaces large emission-intensive systems and processes.
Career highlight/game changing project/something that made a big impact: Building, facilitating and managing an energy efficiency program across coal and gas electricity generators, comprising approximately 20% of Australia’s electricity generation. We developed an energy management system resulting in circa 1MtCO2e/yr reduction, further identifying a pipeline of opportunities. The cultural change, largely facilitated through education was particularly insightful, causing reflection on the profound cultural changes we globally require to achieve decarbonisation.
