Our team provide in-depth analysis and industry trends in our Environmental and Human Rights Report Series.
Quarterly we publish the Tracking 2 Degrees Report, which tracks Australia’s performance against our Paris Agreement Target and the Climate Change Authorities carbon budget, based on the latest available data. In our Human Rights series, we also publish a Modern Slavery Action Tracker, providing analytics on key statistics relating to modern slavery reporting in Australia.
Tracking 2 Degrees Report Series
Under the Paris Agreement, the Australian Government has legally committed to reducing our emissions by 26-28% below 2005 levels by 2030. However, to ensure global warming remains under 2 degrees, independent body – the Climate Change Authority (CCA) – has proposed Australia set a national Science Based Target (SBT). This is a target calculated from Australia’s share of emissions for a 2◦C global outcome. Ndevr Environmental has used this target to model a quarterly emissions budget for Australia. These reports track Australia’s performance against our Paris target and the CCA’s carbon budget based on the latest available data, trends and industry movements.
Modern Slavery Action Tracker Report Series
Our Modern Slavery Action Tracker Report Series provides analytics on key statistics relating to modern slavery reporting in Australia, based on the data provided through the Australian Government’s Online Register for Modern Slavery Statements. Our aim is to provide consolidated information for those interested in following Australia’s Modern Slavery response and a resource for organisations required to publish their own Modern Slavery Statements and response strategies.
