What We Do
We’re a specialist climate change and human rights advisory firm dedicated to accelerating the transition to a net zero future. For over a decade we have forged partnerships with companies and government entities to design innovative business-led solutions to meet the planet’s emerging challenges, and ensure the sustainability and prosperity of Australian businesses.
Skillfully transforming commitment into action, our trusted team of experts has a long track record of delivering excellence and helping organisations understand and strategically reduce their emissions, adhere to sustainability frameworks and regulation, address human rights issues and understand and plan for climate related risks and opportunities.
In the transition to a decarbonised economy, we embed meaningful and measurable impact for clients operating medium to large businesses, including some of Australia’s most well known organisations. From Orica to Toyota, and the Australian Red Cross to Suncorp, our expertise traverses a wide range of industries — including Energy, Finance, FMGC, Health, Infrastructure, Travel & Tourism, Automotive, Manufacturing, and Government — powering the transition to an equitable, sustainable and regenerative future.
Company values matter. Our team embraces and demonstrates the following core values in the way we undertake our work and the way we treat our clients, each other and the planet.
Our mission is to help business transition to a sustainable future by contributing to climate action for the earth and its people.
Our why is underpinned by our B Corporation ethos of using a business as a force for good, our commitment to a Paris agreement aligned science-based net zero target and our vision for a sustainable and equitable future for all.
Doing Better Business
We’ve always prided ourselves on practicing what we preach, therefore becoming a certified B Corporation made sense. It’s a way to clearly communicate our company values and culture, and to have that commitment globally recognised against the highest standards.
Our Science Based Target
Our science-based target commits us to a 1.5°C aligned target: to reduce scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from 2020 base year, and to measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions.
Our Carbon Neutral Certification
We were first certified carbon neutral under Climate Active (then NCOS) back in 2017 for our organisation and services. We offset our unavoidable emissions with 100% Australian Carbon Credit Units – supporting Australian offset projects, our communities and the local environment. Being carbon neutral, our consulting services do not add to your carbon footprint.
Our Commitment to Reconciliation
In support of the national reconciliation movement, we launched our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in 2022, our public commitment to do our part for reconciliation. Our RAP focuses on developing respectful relationships and creating meaningful opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples both internally and in the communities in which we operate.
